Charleston School District enrolls foreign exchange students from around the world.  These students speak English well, and they are ready to learn more about American Culture - but they need nurturing and loving homes. Here are the basics: Host family receives a monthly stipend (F1 Student Visa) Student is responsible for all school and extra expenses (going out with friends/clothing/souvenirs) Student will carry their own health and liability insurance Host family provides a bed and meals Host family will learn more about another culture first hand Student will become a part of your family while attending Charleston High School If you are interested in becoming a host family, please contact Marilyn Moore at 479-965-7160 or email memoore@tigersmail.org
