We’re excited to partner with Mercy Clinic and the Arkansas Department of Health to host a special immunization clinic on November 14, 2024! This clinic is a fantastic chance for families to catch up on required childhood immunizations—especially for STUDENTS LACKING CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATIONS AND NEXT YEAR’SKINDERGARTEN AND 7TH-GRADE STUDENTS NEEDING CHILDHOOD IMMUNIZATIONS. Immunizations:All students Kindergarten through 12th will need the following:4 doses of DTaP with the 4th being after their 4th birthday 3 doses of Polio (opv) with the 3rd being after their 4th birthday2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox) 2 doses MMR3 doses of Hep BAdditionally:Kindergarten -- 1 dose of Hep A1st Grade -- 2 doses of Hep A11 year olds -- 1 dose of Tdap7th Grade -- 1 dose of Meningococcal vaccine16 year olds -- 2 doses of Meningococcal (if first dose on or after age 16, only 1 dose required)Kindergarten:It is a state requirement that every kindergarten student receive a physical from their physician within a year ofentering kindergarten. If you received a letter-please be sure to call and make an appointment for that.Temperature:The nurses want to remind parents that if a child has a temperature, they must be fever free for atleast 24 hours before returning to school. Health:Body Mass Index Reports are available upon request.Lice:It’s time for those creepy crawly visitors, be sure to check your child’s head frequently!!!!Water:Athletes, including spirit and band, watch heat, and drink drink and drink some more!!!
